Earlier this week I was browsing through my quilt books looking for a pattern that would work with large print fabric. In my Coffee-Time Quilts book I found a recipe for Blueberry Coffee Cake. DH loves blueberry muffins so I decided to treat him with blueberry coffee cake.

It turned out well. Tastes much better than it looks. The only trouble I had was the butter wasn't soft enough to crumble with the cake flour. I'll have to remember that next time.
Thanks for all the welcome comments. I will be keeping up my quilting blog as well as this one so feel free to read both.

Will you be sharing your recipe??
Funny, I am the same way with cooking - following a recipe is like torture. I don't mind with baking. But when it comes to meal prep, I like to read the directions and then just go it alone *s* Your coffee cake looks delicious - I bet your hubby was pleased as can be *s*
